Yikes, DX. Stay safe.
Gud, please take care of yourself.
KB and Theo, I'm so very sorry for your losses.

Gronk. I stupidly scheduled a conference call for 6 am, which I made and it went fine and is done but now I am at the office and unable to take a nap as I so desperately want to do.
That'll teach me. You would think, anyway.
I spent my morning so far making onerous phone calls that I was putting off til after vacation was over. It's extra fun because I'm not sleeping and have been full of anxiety lately.
The server that I couldn't get to yesterday because it needed to be started? I can't get to it this morning. I'm guessing it needs to be started! Dude has not answered my email yet.
Granted I know very little about computers, but I guess I thought servers were the kind of thing that had to be left on all the time?
I'm so sorry, Katie. I'm glad you got to say goodbye, though.
t, I would think it would at least teach you to take a 6AM call from home, and tell them you'll be in late, so you can take a nap after?
They took my computer to upgrade it to Win10, and the loaner might drive me insane. But I know there are worse problems! Which many of you are dealing with right now!
My takeaway is to make sure I know what time zone my calendar is showing me, meara. That was my mistake in setting the call up.
The advantages to working from home far outweigh the disadvantages. The one downside is the temptation to have the news playing in the background. Like watching a train wreck. Okay, turning it off before my BP explodes.
Sometimes I need to use my Win10 desktop (which can fit in a pocket) at home and I moved from using a hardware switch for my keyboard and mouse to a software solution and it is awesome. It's like I have one desktop (half-Linux/half-Windows) that spans two computers.
