I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Herding cats for fun

Throw in a few paperbacks and a blanket and I'd be good.

Ended up at 1:45 on hold. Total for the day 2.5 hours on hold and probably another 30 dealing with things once they picked up. Good lord.

But I'm enjoying the heck out of a Pride and Prejudice crossover with Temeraire that was mentioned in an interview with the linguist author of "Because internet", because she is a fannish sort, which I love. (Also her blog is very cool)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So the HR person and I both just teared up about the offer I'm about to make! Everyone loves this person SO MUCH.

Our wings are not tired.

Many gold stars and a day of leisure due to meara. Endless phone loops with internet providers is some ring of hell.

Nice Jesse, so much better than making an offer to someone with hesitation.

To be fair, I'm a sympathetic cryer, so I probably wouldn't have on my own. But still! It's great.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Working from home today since I did not on Wed. Not really planned, but current work is pretty loosey goosey, so might as well take advantage while I can. I have boss approval to work from home 1 day a week, so I'm covered.

I've got both laptops open and am going to crank out work and personal stuff ALL DAY LONG. TCB Friday.

Write an email (forget to hit send) - start other tasks - get angry no one is responding - do other tasks - get angrier that there is still no response - go to send angry follow up email to group - see that you never sent the first email - begin flogging self.

Ha, I wish I could say I have never done that.
