Color waxes are not the easiest to apply vs a spray, but they work great for temp bright colors.
Semi-perm "for dark hair" formulations tend to be pretty subtle and show up best in bright light, so for Halloween I would go with either a wax or spray option.

We tried the L’Oréal last night and the blue barely showed. So I ordered something different that we’ll try this week.
I had a surprise at work when my period started. I think it's been about 5 months since the last one? And the other day I was thinking "huh, this seems kind of like pms...." and sure enough.
And what a nice surprise!
It's getting even nicer because I feel like my body is like-- "You thought I was gone??! You wanted to get rid of me?? Well I'm back! With a vengeance!... and I don't think Halloween was bloody enough for you so let me help you out!"
