Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

'The Message'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ooh, pretty dresses! There's something, I don't know, tapestry-esque about that print that helps with the RenFaire adjacent qualification, I think

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks. I think I’ll get one of them. I got an email with a discount today, which helps. I technically cannot afford to go to this wedding, but it’s my nephew. So, I’m going alone instead of with ltc and TCG because the idea of missing it makes me feel sick.

Cass, that sounds equally un possible! How dare the cute little kiddos grow up so fast?!?

Thrive to spite them

E is going to be 16 next month. Kids need to stop growing.

I love both dresses, and you will look so fabulous in either one.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The first year we went to the beach with Tim's family, youngest niece was 8. We're headed back to the beach Saturday, and youngest niece, who is now a doctor working in a hospital, will be at the beach also, with her husband. The passage of time blows my tiny little mind.

Our wings are not tired.

My nephew Negasi is 9. A super fun age. But yikes, so much energy. My 14 yo nephew has settled into the sleep late eat constantly phase. Less exhausting. He is going to the gym with me every day and is psyched about muscles.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

One of my co-workers occasionally brings her son into the office. He's maybe 9? anyway, it's exhausting just having him around. Great kid, but high energy.

There's a cluster of our great-niecephews who are all under 10, and they are made entirely of energy. They could power a city.

ltc is awesome in every way, but she is also utterly exhausting sometimes. She can talk for HOURS.
