COVID has officially reached my extended family. My uncle (who has many pre-existing conditions and is in his mid-70s) is in the ICU on a ventilator with COVID. He and my aunt went to their son's home for Christmas, where there were 3 adults and 2 teens, none of whom are being very safe. Nine days later, COVID. I just...
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm so sorry to hear that, Glam.
That's horrible news, Glam. I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry, GC.
Amazingly, he's doing a bit better today. Vent was doing 100% of his breathing when he was admitted (Sat.) and now it's doing 40%. He was also able to follow commands when they lowered sedation, which is a good sign. He told my aunt if it came to it, he didn't want to be on a vent but she just couldn't make that call. We'll see if it was the right one.
She and her granddaughter tested negative for COVID today. Cousin's family needs to test but don't know their status. It def came through one of them.
Glam, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle's diagnosis. I'm glad he is improving.
Vibing so hard for your uncle, Glam. Turning down the vent and sedation are definitely cautiously hopeful signs. I'm just so sorry.
Lots of health~ma to your uncle Glam.
We had our parent teacher conference via Zoom on Friday. ltc is doing great and tries everything. She doesn't throw huge tantrums at school. So, I guess she saves those for at home.
That's good to hear, sj. Yes, little ones do tend to save the tantrums for parents. Joy.
