I have a sling now and am told to take Advil and Tylenol. I have been given much better drugs for much less pain. I have never been in this much pain in my life.
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I feel like I'm coming across as a pothead lately, but is medical marijuana legal for you? I swear it was the only thing that even touched the pain of my frozen shoulder last year and I've become a convert.
It probably is, but I can’t smoke it because of my asthma.
I was thinking I should clarify that. I've never smoked it in my life. When the pain was at its worst, I had a tincture, a lotion/rub, and edibles. My workplace is technically zero tolerance, so I never took edibles in the office, but I did sneak in the rub and the tincture. Now I just do occasional edibles for back pain or for anxiety. I mostly stick to gummies, though I got some cookies last time I visited. I stick to very low THC, since the high is not what I'm there for. And I mostly take them at bedtime ('cuz it seems like THC makes me sleepy).
Oh, sj, I'm sorry you're in so much pain and they're not helping you.

Oh yeah, if it's legal, maybe edibles would help. (I know it's legal for recreational use in Massachusetts, and I'm not saying you should have friends in Massachusetts buy edibles for you if it's easier than getting an Rx for medical weed in Rhode Island, but I'm not NOT saying that, either.)
(Realized I was wayyyy behind here).
sj, speedy recovery~ma! I'm sorry you're in pain.
{{{Laura}}} This is heartbreaking. I am so sorry.
askye, I hope you're doing better, too.
And hi, people I haven't seen here in a while!
Yeah, what Steph didn't not say.
Hi Shir, nice to see you as well!
Teppy, I live in Massachusetts.
I’m home in ton of pain. Following up with my new pcp on Wednesday and I have a call into an orthopedic surgeon. Have I mentioned that orthopedic surgeons are my least favorite people on the planet? They see a patient with SB and rub their hands with glee at all the surgeries they can try.

Why did I think Rhode Island? I bet because DXM has been on my mind.
Well in that case, get you some edibles.
