Meara, probably a prefinished wood floor.
'Touched'
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Dana, that's what I've heard from a few people, but it seems like it wouldn't work as well in a bedroom--I've got more furniture and less space to move it around in, it seems? I have thought it might be easier if I wait until my roommate moves out and then stuff could be moved from room to room at least.
We had carpet removed and replaced with engineered hardwood in the upstairs room in our old house -- we had to drag all the stuff in the room out of the way (iirc we packed up everything that was easily packable, and moved large furniture to the side and then back so they could do it in a couple of stages). Getting the carpet out is one of the best things we ever did in that house, even if it took some tetris.
When I wanted to replace the old carpet in my house, I called Empire Today and they brought samples to my house, and they moved the furniture.
Don't forget the storage pods you can have dropped off to pack and then whisked away until you want it back. Great for moving day.
I got vinyl plank flooring -- relatively cheap, and the new ones look a lot nicer than some of older kinds.
I have vinyl plank flooring in my kitchen and downstairs bath and I've been happy with it. It's stood up to messes well and still looks good.
Man, it's only Thursday.
How much do I tip for laundry service? The internet is not helping me.
In these times, I'd tip 25% of the total bill. If the bill is under $40 (not likely with a laundry service here), I'd tip $20 flat.
Karl tips like I do during these times.
Through the end of this month, I'm paid regular and it's not like I am doing anything. I am either at work or home. I spend very little. So my bad pay still leaves me with extra cash and I'm doing the most good I can.
