Trying to get started on a new week of work but not feeling it yet.
Yes, motivation seems to be a major casualty of this crisis.
Dear, sweet, Jeebus, YES. Mine has completely fled. Even for the stuff that I LOVE TO DO.
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

'Sup, y'all??? Aims reporting for duty.
CINDY!! I was JUST wondering where you were and how you've been!! I am so happy to see you!!
Hey Aims! How are you and the kiddo doing? Also, how are all your little out of school kiddos?
We're doing okay. Both of us struggle without structure so we're trying to work through that both here at my place and at Joe's. Em and I have been talking a lot more as her anxiety is pretty high right now. I find it difficult sometimes to carry the load of her (understandably big) emotions and anxiety, as well as try to find balance within my big emotions and anxiety.
My little out of school kiddos are okay, from what I can tell. I've only "met" with them once. It took me a good three days to recover from that, I miss them so much.
I can only imagine! I am stressed and anxious, and that never happens to me, so a new experience. As a teen it has to be that much more emotional. I have to say the teens in my area seem to be gathering on the street in larger groups than most of the adults. But still maybe 3-4 in a group. Kids here have virtual school, but that still leaves them with way too much time on their hands.
DH is trying to keep his athletes on track with individual coaching suggestions like running our overpasses since they don't have the beach or hills as an option. Also using things at home for weights since they can't go to the gym and these kids don't have weight benches at home. No hoops to practice shots unless they have one at home.
Hey gang.
Hey, ND ... you OK?
yay checkins!
TODDSON!! HI HI HI!!
I'm just working on taking it one day at a time. The aid from the SBA is starting to get through the system. If things stay on schedule I'll have money from the Paycheck Protection Program tomorrow, so that will allow me to bring my staff back from furlough. The biggest issue is that at the moment there isn't an entertainment industry for us to come back to.
I have a couple of small projects that look like I can get through which will generate some income for the business, but a large portion of the work over the next 8 weeks is going to be working as a team to come up with a plan to explore new markets and hopefully move forward. I certainly don't think the economy will be back to normal in 8 weeks, so I hope that congress is already working on what the next aid package will look like, otherwise I think a lot of small businesses will bring staff back for 8 weeks, and then need to furlough gain when the PPP money runs out. It's also structured that way, for the PPP loan to be forgiven it must be used for payroll, and a business must maintain the same level of FTE staffing as they had before the pandemic, so there is no option to try to manage the loan to cover a longer period of time. It's 8 weeks of full paychecks and then right back over the cliff.
