I'm with you on the heat hate, KB. It's very kind of you to help your neighbor in spite of it. And your neighbor is still getting the help she needs, even if you aren't entirely thrilled about it at the moment, so you're hardly a terrible person.
I hope your stomach feels better soon, Trudy. Or that you can get your hands on a muffin, at least.
I'm cranky after a week of record heat is all. Sweltering is not my favorite thing.
At least hospitals are generally freezing cold? Sorry, hope you can get comfy and read something good.
Hope the Not!Muffin helped the belly.
My son is a rock star. Of his own accord he called my sister to arrange pick up. She was whining that our elderly step-dad was out of town and our elderly cousin was sick so someone would just have to drive all the way cross state to pick her up. He gently insisted that surely if she gave it some thought she could think of someone that could bring her half way. 10 minutes later she called back and had found a neighbor to drive her to mid everglades.
AND, he got his official job offer from Tesla and it was nicer than he anticipated. Cool beans. He starts next month.
Yay Laura's son! Rock Star all around!
ltc is an inconsolable crank monster today, even for her nonni. I'm hoping she is just tired from falling asleep so late last night.
Poor ltc and those around her. I hope something consoles her. Maybe she is warm or teething, either of which might be helped with a frozen treat.
Maybe she is warm or teething
Or growth spurt. Or cognitive spurt. Little ones have SO MUCH going on with their little brains and little bodies - it is amazing they aren't crying all the time.
I think it is probably teething. These two year molars are taking fracking forever to come in.

Your son is a fine lad, AND he works at Tesla. Cool!
