Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Thanks, everyone.

If I get too frustrated while on vacation, my sister and I (or my dad and I) can go find something to do, and somewhere to eat.

Herding cats for fun

I wonder, does Maine offer vegan Chinese and Indian food? Those could be annoying.

What is even happening?

Where in Maine, Hil?

brillig

I was just in the ladies room here at work, listening to someone in another stall fuss with wrappers and throwing things away and grumbling. A state of transcendent joy fell upon me, causing me to bless Menopause and my freedom from such things.

My mom apologized for freaking out about the food stuff.

She also suggested that we just decide each day what we'll do for dinner. My sister and I both said no to that plan -- we've tried that before, and it goes very badly. Nobody wants to go through all these negotiations while hungry.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry that deciding what to do about food is such a chore. There ought to be a better way. One person in charge with the understanding that they need to cover various needs. Each person gets to choose one day with no arguments. Put a bunch of choices in a hat and pull randomly. The focus could be more on enjoying time together, unless this is a tasting vacation.

Thrive to spite them

Scrappy the Cat escaped almost 2 weeks ago. We got him back but he hid well (actually he just hid under the house but never let us see him). He is skin and bones but his appetite has been good.

He was meowing almost yowling occasionally when we touched him but nothing seemed wrong. He was walking, running jumping on the bed etc. Maybe not as much or as playful. I chalked this up to him being malnourished.

But he seems to have hurt his tail. He doesn't twitch his tail but he will move it when he sits. I'm trying to figure out if this is serious enough for the vet.

I guess we will just watch him

I look more rad than Lutheranism

After 2 weeks away, I'd think about taking the kitty to the vet, if that's within your budget. But I'm also a big worrier.

He had is vaccinations a couple months ago . I would take him except right now it just isn't. I just had to get my brakes fixed this morning. Matthew is now unemployed and he'll get his VA disability on the 1st but his car needs to be fixed, it's not running.

And last month I had dental work. I haven't been as smart with my budget lately I've been so tired after work we have eaten out a lot.

There isn't a budget vet or discounts except for vaccinations and neutering.
