I'm looking forward to a new challenge but I I feel like I didn't do a good job of being the shoe specialist so this gives me a chance to have a new start.
Matthew's mom living here is rocky. I guess she walked to the bank this morning to open an account and didn't have a bill in her name with this address so they wouldn't open it. Somewhere around here is the house insurance bills with her name but I don't know where they are. She ststted to go through my stuff and I asked her not to and I'll find it.
There haven't been clear boundaries and so it's gone from "oh no I won't eat with y'all " to an expectation that she is being included in meals. She washes the dishes so that is nice and I'm trying ot to be grudge this. But she has no car so ahe is pretty much here all the time.
The library is within walking distance but she doesn't read well or have a dvd player so there are limits to what she can get. Although there are activities going on and I'm going to encourage her to go there and get a calendar.
Matthew has very little patience for her. On top of that he lifted more than he should at work and hurt his back and has hemrroids really bad. Plus his car isn't starting. He has missed most of this week of work. He missed all of last week.
So he is stuck in the house unless he is borrowing my car to run an errand. And he hasn't felt like moving much.
Our router quit working and I don't have money to spare to replace it so I need go to Spectrum to rent one from them. Honestly I need to get up and get over there because I have to work today and I don't know how long I'll have to wait.
My birthday is Sunday.
Matthew really needs to find another job. But that can be daunting. He is talking about getting a part time job instead of a full time one. With his back it's probably what he needs.
I feel like there is a lot of stuff I'm goong on that I am more concerned about than anyone else. Matthew takes a much more "it will work out" attitude. I'm wondering if how we deal with these things is going go be a deal breaker for our relationship but mostly I am ignoring that because I don't need that stress right now.
Sorry to vent. I'm just feeling overwhelmed because I've already run one errand today. Our clothes are still in 5 different places in the house instead of put away and it keeps getting put off and i should be working on that instead of typing this because I have to get ready and go to work in a few hours and get lunch before then as well.

That was my concern too, but he is just a super picky eater. We stopped and bought him a couple pair of pants and shirts and he changed on the way in my car! Also, wooooot, I pick him up at 7 tonight because he was hired and is in training.

One thing off my list is thr router. Spectum opened an office near me and it isn't on any of their info. Even when you call them and ask. I wasn't sure I could get a router there but I did. Now I'm trying to eat lunch.
Someone at the restaurant doesn't understand how loud their voice projects so I can hear their side of the conversation like they are sitting next to me.

In a little funny thing that happened. We don't have kitchen table and chairs and I looked today. Found 2 options at Habitat for Humanity and decided against both.
msbelle had found me one on FB but Matthew does not want to buy from someone on FB or Craigslist list so I didn't do that.
Go to another thrift store and they have a bunch of microwaves new in box for cheap. Matthew's mom needs one so I messaged him
Then I saw a small drop leaf round table but decided to measure the space in the kitchen and then come back.
I get home and his brother picked up his mom to go get the microwave. And she brought the table. I didn't tell anyone I found a table so this was just coincidence but it one of those moments.
I did buy 2 folding chairs and I have a card table and we are going to make due until I find something I really like.
And Scrappy has escaped. Matthew had taken Duchess outside on her harness and leash and decided to treat Scrappy to some outdoor time.
Scrappy panicked . Matthew was trying to get me to grab his leash but it wasn't processing some how until Scrappy pulled his leash loose and ran for the side of the yard where it was overgrown.
He got stuck and we were trying to hack our way through the bushes and brambles when the breakaway harness broke away and he ran free.
So now Matthew is mad at himself and mad st me. We caught Scrappy before with the live trap and he wasn't as accustomed to us so I think we will be able to catch him again.
