I have a feeling I'll end up getting rid of a lot of stuff as I'm unpacking boxes. I guess that moving is kind of forcing Marie Kondo's method, where you put everything into a big pile and then pick up each thing individually and decide if you want to keep it.

Well, one of the movers just packed all my obviously religious stuff, then asked if it was "authentic, from Europe," and I said yes, my grandmother's family brought the menorah over from Germany, and now he's all, "Oh, your family is from Germany? So is mine!" and it's all kinds of weird.
