Mal: Which one you figure tracked us? Zoe: The ugly one, sir. Mal: Could you be more specific?

'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Best of luck Laura! I hope this is a better match.

I spent a good part of last week and weekend arguing with one of my medical supply companies and fedex to get my supplies in a timely manner, which I didn't end up actually getting until today. I was quite literally vibrating with stress most of the weekend. Today, I've mostly convinced my body that it is not being chased by a giant predator. So, of course I just tripped and fell hard on both hands and knees and will probably spend the rest of my week in pain.

Our wings are not tired.

This baby is a male, which apparently is the less dominant gender for dobermans. If he is as delightful as DH thinks he will be then I'll name him Skinner to boss around Scully & Mulder.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm sorry, sj.

Laura, that sounds promising. And of course I love the name!

So far Skinner is a complete delight. He has interacted beautifully with several neighbor dogs, and their humans. He slept well. DH couldn't get him to go outside unless he went with him, then claims he had to pee in the backyard to get Skinner to do so. But we all know dudes will use any excuse to have to pee outside.

He's a bit timid, but he is also only a pup so not surprising. I think he is going to be large. He's thin with crazy long legs.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

If they neutered him early, Laura, that happens. I'm glad he's working out for you guys. I'm sputtering over B pretending to pee in the back yard to be a role model for him *g*.

He squats like a girl, Skinner, not B.

Thrive to spite them

Skinner is a cutie.

I am in hell with Spectrum. Yesterday I got 4 automated phone call reminders about my appointment today AND an in person call AND a text message.

I had to make an hour round trip to turn un the old equipment before the tech came out today.

So I have faster internet but not the streaming service I signed up for. Because she didn't put it on the order. Ok that happens on the call to get that straightened out I get another call from Spectrum with a survey. The person on the phone says it's all set and I should have the streaming service up in a out 15 mins.

An hour later there is nothing. I call and find out I'm not signed up for streaming service but basic cable and the Latino package. While on that call I get a call from Spectrum and a text message about an appointment tomorrow at 8 am. I have to get off the phone and the person um talking to has no idea what that is about but tells me it could take 25 hours for the streaming to start working. Ok .

I get off the phone and call about the appointment. It's to turn on the basic cable. So I connect with someone and explain all of this and find out I still don't have streaming on my account and I have to talk to another person to cancel the cable package that i don't want.

And now I'm on hold for that.

I just want to make dinner.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

sj, may your ouchies heal soon.

askye, that does indeed sound like hell.

Thrive to spite them

I think I've finally got it straight. That , however, included about a half hour of trying to get the app on the tv go work only to be transferred to tech support for the app and discover there was a global issue.
