Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

For my 60th birthday tattoo, I got "Don't Dream it's Over" from my favorite song.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Top of my thigh is going to be the placement of my next one, too, I think. Never even occurred to me as a good option until I went to an exhibit at the California Museum focusing on Polynesian culture that included quite a bit on traditional tattoos and women in one or more of those cultures had a tradition of tattooing themselves above the knee.

Yeah, Toddson, blood thinners and tattoos do not go well together!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I sometimes refer to it as my daily dose of rat poison ... I'm cheerful like that.

brillig

I get bored with the pictures on my walls too often, I don't want to have something on my skin that I can't swap out.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The list of tattoos I want to get is long. It's not even been a year since the last one, and I want the next one now now now.

It me. My last two are both less than a year old, but I have SO MANY IDEAS.

I think I'm kind of old to be getting one. I turn (shudder) 67 on my next birthday.

I don't know about the blood thinner risk, but my mom got her first tattoo this year at age 70. You're never too old! (This is the artist - my mom's tattoo isn't in her feed, but I *love* *love* *love* her style.)

Wow those are neat! I want another tattoo, and am pretty sure I know where I want it, have a fairly good example of what I want, but haven't yet been arsed to find a tattoo artist and arrange and pay for it. Guess I don't want it that badly?

Punishingly Intricate

Wow ! Jessica, I love that artist's work. I've been wanting to get a tattoo of all the state flowers from the states I've lived in and now I'm wondering if I should go to Brooklyn to get it!!!

Herding cats for fun

I don't have tattoos because I am also a rotate all the art occasionally person. I get tired of seeing the same thing all the time.

I did think about getting Mishka's pawprint but waffled about where to put it. He liked to pat my face with his velvet safety paws, but facial tattoos and I are not friends.

I could follow that with all the other cat paws and have a trail meandering up my spine. Which would be super cool but frustrating when I couldn't see it.

So I probably won't ever ink my skin but trying it out with henna would be fun.
