Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I have both of my sister's here visiting. The sibling of Mulder & Scully may be adopted by my sister so we may have 3 kitties here shortly.

IJWTS Murray Gray Cat is a great name

All of my cats either chose me or were thrust upon me by circumstances outside the control of either of us. Pixie was found by the side of the road by a customer of the store I was working at who brought her in in hopes that some other customer might adopt her. She spent the day walking on the counters and yelling at everybody and by the end of the day she was clearly coming home with me. Miss Kitty I got via the Sr Director of Operations swinging by my desk and saying "you're a cat person! My friend has a cat she can't keep, can you take her?" so I did.

I think I've told the story of Shadow, who appeared at our door as a kitten, strolled in, inspected the premises, used the litter box, adn fell asleep in the food bowl, as we followed after him, bemused.

After I lost my ancient Koogie Cat, we went to PetSmart, just in case. I wanted a female cat, to avoid male cat issues, and as I was strolling along the cages, one of them reached out and put his paw on my hand. But I wanted a female. I actually tried two others, but there were problems with both. I went back to the male, who was sitting there looking at me with "Well, it took you a while, but you got here in the end" on his face. I didn't get to keep Amon Ra long, due to a neighborhood asshole in a jacked up truck who hated cats. But he was a hit with the kids at the bus stop on the corner.

We grew our own kitty in the backyard. (I'm not sure Murderbiscuit's momcat actually gave birth in our backyard, but she moved them there at some point; by the time that Tim found them in our yard, the kittens' eyes were open and they were wandering around.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Kitty stories! When I lost my beloved Josie, I decided to adopt another quickly so we went to the pound and found a sickly little black kitty girl that we adopted (momo). Not 2 weeks later, a teeny gray baby boy appeared on our street (Casper). So, yes - kitties do generally find you when you need them.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I love the gotcha stories. I may be impatient about our next gotcha but I believe it will happen.

Murderbiscuit showed up about 6 or 7 weeks after we put Kato to sleep, and about 7 or 8 weeks before we put Slinky to sleep. He drove me absolutely batshit crazy that first year, and there were a LOT of times I genuinely regretted adopting him, but he was a godsend to Tim, who had had Kato and Slinky basically their whole lives, so their departures were brutal for him (super hard for me, too, obviously). Having wee Murderbiscuit during that period made Tim SO happy. He still adores the kitty way more than that demonic scapegrace deserves. (Yes, I love the kitty, too. But he still needs to chill the fuck out by an order of magnitude.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Anyone else hoping this one is named Skinner? Or Krychek?

"Skinner" is cracking me up because I can't help but here it in Superintendent Chalmer's voice (which would o doubtbe appropriate at times)
