Getting through closing was like having an extra full time job with we did it last year. It was always a race to get one more thing, and because of tax reasons we really had to finish before the end of the calendar year in 2017. Our closing date ended up slipping from I think 12/23 to 12/26. It was right at the wire. Our purchase was officially recorded on 12/27.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
And you're always frantic to get things done, and none of the companies you deal with ever seem to feel any sense of urgency.
Yeah, mine was supposed to be end of calendar year and ended up being January 3rd last time. I was not pleased.

Yup. Both times. There is always one more document.
I love the game where every agency takes whatever time they need, but then when they need something from you, it has to happen in the next 2 hours or the whole deal is off.
I got a two-week extension on the closing date, and probably getting a mortgage from the mortgage place affiliated with the realtor.
That's great news!
Excellent, Hil.
Weighted blanket question - for a blanket that will cover two people, should the weight be calculated per person, or combined? (i.e. for two people who each weigh 150, would the correct blanket be 15lb or 30lb?)
Just finished my registration for the SuperRun 5k tomorrow. This is going to be such a crazy weekend. It's Irish Faire and the 5k tomorrow, then performing at the House of Ireland on Sunday. I've gotta find out who put the SuperRun on St. Patrick's Day weekend and encourage them to really consider their lifechoices before next year.
