Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh that sucks Hil. We were super worried about that happening when we were purchasing. Ask your agent if there are any options on getting another appraiser to take a look or something like that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I contacted my agent, and I'm waiting to hear back from her. I'm worried because it took a while to find this one -- there are so few condos that don't have stairs. Nearly everything else that I looked at wasn't accessible.

I heard back from my agent -- she said that she talked to the mortgage guy earlier today, and that she'll talk to him again tomorrow, and she'll let me know what the options are.

How long does it usually take for a Paypal payment to transfer to your bank account? (My dad sent me $5 as a test. It showed up on Paypal immediately, and then I clicked the thing to transfer it to my checking account. On Paypal, it says that it transferred, but it's not showing up yet on my bank account webpage.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Several days, in my experience.

Yeah about 3 days.

Thanks. (Trying to figure out the best way for my parents to send me the money for the down payment, because it had been in one of their retirement accounts or something, and it didn't occur to them to take it out of the retirement account and have it in an account that they could send it to me from until I specifically asked them to, and so what I thought would be just them writing a check and sending it to me is taking a lot longer than that, and I need to have proof that the money is in my account for the mortgage.)

OK, I figured out that, if I use my debit card rather than transferring by using the routing numbers for the checking account, it's a lot faster. That's irritating, but at least it's a kind of irritating that I can work with.

And, just got my PayPal account suspended for suspicious activity. (I think I fixed it. Waiting for confirmation on that.)

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Holy crap, Hil! It usually takes until close of business for paypal funds to show up in my account, using the debit card. Though sometimes it's the next morning. It usually takes them a little longer to sort out weird stuff.

Thanks for the eyebrow ramble, guys. I feel much less incompetent.
