Oh Epic, I'm sorry. If you find a better option starting sooner than April I hope that your supervisor would understand why you can't stay.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I had an interview for a job today. It would be working as a parapro in an Autism center in a middle school. I'd be one-on-one with a student but as part of a small team. The kids are not functioning well enough to be part of the gen ed classes, so the Center is self contained for the most part. I interviewed with the head of ASD programs, the head of the Center and the principal. Seemed to go well—I'm going I. Tomorrow and spending the day in the classroom so they can see how I do. The school itself is brand new and just six minutes from my house. I am very excited!
Sounds like a wonderful opportunity, Scrappy! Good luck!
Oh Scrappy, go you! Aidan is the happy recipient of classes like that. They do him so much good in there.
Epic, I hope that you find something better as soon as you can go, and that they last long enough to bewail their own stupidity at their loss of you.
Scrappy that is awesome.
Epic you are going to find a kick ass job.
I don't know why I'm serial posting.
I got the job. Well I'm like 99% sure the transfer will happen. The manager I talked to was really impressed with numbers and my attitude. The store is huge and does a huge volume and all I will do is manage people and sell .
I still haven't talked to my manager and he has to sign off on the transfer. I'm not sure when but maybe the week after next.
That is awesome, Scrappy!
Great news, askye!
Job~ma must be floating around. Eldest son is working doing data entry for one of my doctors. Office manager asked me if I knew someone at another practice familiar with our software that might want temp work because she is short staffed. I mentioned my son, who she knows, and she was delighted. I brought him there and stayed for a few minutes. She took about 30 seconds showing him how to use other software they use that he will need to search for info and she was just so happy to have someone that requires no help. Then on the way there in the car his former employer called to say he was eligible for rehire and could he come in tomorrow for a brief interview. Maybe I won't have to support him into his 30s after all.
Awesome news, Scrappy and askye!
Woot! Askye, that's good news!
Laura, yay for eldest son! I'm so glad he's got positive stuff going on.
