Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It sounds lovely for you (and you sound excited about it!) All the house~ma until you've got things sorted!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oddly, the garage currently has a boat in it. Also, the steps down to the garage were too steep even for the real estate agent to manage them well.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

There's a visitor from one of our sites in France having a meeting with a guy whose office is about ten feet from my desk. I'm trying very hard not to see him, because I figure there's no way some rando from the Accounting group is as hot as that accent makes him sound.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think that Epic needs to do some investigating.

Seriously, Epic. If you don't want to do it for yourself, do it for us!

Sorry guys. I actually did almost run into him in the corridor, but didn't see his face. If it makes you feel any better, from behind, there was some very nice potential. Now they've all gone off for dinner with the PTB (and I don't Be a Power, sorry).

Well, it's nice to know his rear-view had potential, I guess.

Good morning! I had a visit with my rheumatologist yesterday. So much fun. I'm on methotrexate now, and it's working, though I'm a wee bit hesitant about it.

She told me to lose weight. Recalling the conversation in here, I asked her about the keto diet, she said "Do anything. If it has diet in the name, try it." So I'm thinking that wasn't a very reasoned, medically sound response. I should maybe try the cabbage soup diet? Or the grapefruit diet?

I think I'm going to start by just cutting carbs, since that seems to be the problem food, and go from there. I know my PCP approves of that plan, anyway.

I sure like seeing you guys pixels.

Edited to improve my punctuation.

Deena, Tim takes methotrexate for his RA. If I can answer any questions for you (or pass them on to him), I'm happy to do it.

Thanks so much, Tep! I don't really know what questions to ask. I kind of stopped listening when they mentioned hair loss. How much does he take a week?

That hasn't been a huge problem for him -- one of the things his rheumatologist recommended was to take biotin every day, and that's really helped.

How much does he take a week?

He takes 20 mg (in 8 pills) once a week. The biggest side effects he has are fatigue and nausea for about 2 days, so he takes his methotrexate on the weekend.
