Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

'Ariel'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

The cat gods heard Aiden's plea!

Work was much better today. But I found out before I got to work yesterday the police had to be called. 2 of our regular customers have a beef and got into it and I don't know what happened but neither was banned from the store but one got a restraining order agaisnt the other and then returned everything she had bought in the last month and said she will never be back. I think because the other woman wasn't banned. Both of them are difficult in some ways but the one we "kept" will hope merchandise to come back and get and I think she steals.

They almost came to blows the last time they were in the store at the same time. Both women are in their 60s .

Herding cats for fun

Oooh, the kitties who walk up to your door step are the best ones. Lucky you guys.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I skipped and skimmed a bunch.

I'm in a ton of pain. Had a late night at work today (grading until about 10:30), and my wheelchair battery died (again) and I had to push it up a hill, and I'm still coughing, and pretty much just everything hurts and I wish it would stop.

Oh Hil, that sucks! I wish I could help. Unfortunately, I only have a cat story.

We came home from the grocery store and my children were OUTDOORS in the LIGHT of the SUN trying to coax the kitties to like them with food and water and nice sounds. I am astounded.

We had storms tonight, and they wouldn't come stay in the house, but there's lots of places for the kitties to hide, like on the front porch, with the food, so I'm not too worried, though Aidan was sure they were going to be Deluged! Or possibly just get their paws wet, and kitties Do Not Like that! In case we didn't know.

Always good to get confirmation your children aren't vampires.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hugs to everyone, especially sj, my sister in mothering cranky preschoolers.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, juliana. We had a rough week, and yesterday ltc just started crying about how she misses her old teachers. My heart was breaking, and I don't know how to make it better.

Our wings are not tired.

{{moms}} Yes, the heartbreak when your kids hurt never ends no matter how old they get.
