Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Nice news! And yes it would be so very foolish to not get the pizza when it is right the hell there next to the vet!

I was asked to make a couple lasagnas for Christmas dinner. DIL has to avoid gluten so I am making the veggie one with sliced zucchini instead of noodles.

Nice Laura! Your daughter in law is lucky to have you. They also have lasagna noodles made from the gluten free bean pasta, for future reference.

Deena, I hope Kara isn't too upset and the transition is easy for the family.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

And from rice and/or corn flour.

The resentful kitty is back home, and the pizza is staying warm in the oven. I want to eat it all up right now.

True. I just feel the bean and lentil ones taste the most like real pasta.

I'll ask her if she wants to try one of those instead. Sounds like less effort!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My new medical insurance just denied me an MRI for my swollen ankle for a second time. I spent an hour on the phone just now trying to deal with both that and the fact that my medical supplies were being held up AGAIN. I found out the person I have been dealing with at my doctor's office has left the office. I haven't been able to exercise at the gym because of the ankle issue, and that was actually helping with my anxiety and depression. So, now I'm shaking and mad. Grr. t end rant

Insurance companies are absurdly evil. I am so sorry you have to deal with so much from them. They know well the frustration they cause, and only hope that people give up rather than continue to fight.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I found out the person I have been dealing with at my doctor's office has left the office.

AUGH, so now you have to tell the whole story to someone else. That's so frustrating.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

My doctor prescribed a specially compounded medicine that would help the pain in my joints, and my insurance denied it. So frustrating.
