Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

'Smile Time'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're at Hedwig! And they upgraded our seats because there is no elevator.

Our wings are not tired.

Enjoy, sj!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My DH reserved WW Tixs from the wrong night, so we were unable to see it last night. He was mortified, but we're both stressed out over the move. Luckily, the friends we were with were completely cool about it. We had a nice dinner beforehand and will use the vouchers we got to go NEXT week. He's off to Spain until Thursday for a car launch.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm sorry about the mixup, Scrappy, but at least you'll get to see it next week.

Can you point me to where you told us about the new house? I've missed it, and can't seem to find it. Want to drool in envy and celebrate with you guys.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Glad your friends were cool, Scrappy. Things happen when we are overwhelmed.

Hil, an organizer sounds like a great idea.

How did you like Hedwig, sj? I have seen it a number of times in settings from a gay nightclub to a used bookstore to Broadway, and loved it pretty much every time.

Y'all, I need help on my homework. I'm drafting a business plan as part of a start up class that I'm doing and keep getting stalled out on market research. I haven't been able to find any industry info specifically geared to historic preservation; I emailed a couple of the trade nonprofits to see if they had info or resources to suggest, but they never responded (not surprising, really). I know that I probably need to combine information about a couple of sectors (one being home renovation) but my anxiety keeps taking over. Anyone have ideas? Librarians, oh my librarians?

Here is the listing online, Bev. [link] No pix of the inside, but it's nice. Fingers crossed everything goes through and it becomes ours!

Oh yes, all crossables crossed for you. That looks gorgeous!

Our wings are not tired.

So DH has a basketball tournament in Tallahassee this weekend and he suggested I tag along so I can play with a friend of mine who lives there. (old friend, stood up for us at our wedding, did a couple marathons with me) I thought it would be nice to go with him too since I will be heading out for the summer soon. BUT, the notion of staying at the Motel 6 with a dozen teens and several coaches and parents didn't sound too appealing since I would have to be working at least 2 days on the trip.

Solution, I made a reservation for us at another hotel with a pool and fitness room and other amenities, because I am a deserving. Wow, I keep surprising myself and doing things for me. This over 60 thing might work out after all.

Art Crawl!!!

Scrappy - the new place is beautiful!

Laura - other hotel sounds like an excellent plan.

Meanwhile - I stayed up too late last night and called in to my doctor (I had an appointment for which I had missed the bus that would get me closest to time.) I went for a bagel and got a call that actually my appointment is tomorrow. . .

Then I found out that my cable/wifi payment had gone wrong by coming home to no wifi. Sigh.

And I am exhausted.

Not winning at retirement at the moment.
