Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I also need to see my therapist. I haven't this month because my new health insurance kicked in and I have the deductible to worry about.

I lost track of the month and time swept by so now I need to get a refill on my meds and don't think that will happen until Tuesday at the earliest and I'll run out on Monday. I have cut it close the last 2 months . The psychiatrist is only in Tuesdays and Thursdays and I have to pick up the prescription.

I also have to get a replacement for my prescription refill coverage card for my insurance as I've lost that.

And because of my anxiety in dealing with insurance (which is why I haven't gotten a replacement) I just enrolled in my Rally health thing to earn money toward my HSA ams may not have enough time to finish challenges and lose out on some free money from the company.

I have a DBT skils book for anxiety and I need to start working on those exercises.

Blah. I need to have a colonoscopy (because the doctors still haven't figured out where my anemia is coming from), and I was figuring I'd take an Lyft there and back, but I just got the instructions for the procedure, and it specifically says that they won't let you leave in a cab unless there's someone else with you. Seriously?

That's my big stumbling block to getting one done, Hil. But I haven't received instructions. My general doc thinks I should be able to do it, but I don't think he has final say. They really don't give proper support to people who live alone and don't want to impose oin people

I got a package from Amazon today, and I hadn't ordered anything. About six inches by six inches by four feet. I opened it, and it's an umbrella. A super-fancy umbrella with a newfangled kind of opening mechanism. And it's gigantic. And polka dotted. I found the receipt way at the bottom of the box, and it was from my mother, who for some reason decided I needed this umbrella. Thanks, I guess? She also said that I should expect another box, and that I should call her as soon as I open it, but she wouldn't tell me what it was.

Our wings are not tired.

Umbrellas are handy.

Ireland! I really have to do that someday. Relatives and all that.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Maybe the other box will be full of rain, Hil.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Hil, I saw your post on Facebook -- if it's after 11:30, I can pick you up and take you home. Monfort Heights is right around the corner (relatively speaking) from me. I have therapy Thursday mornings, but I'm done by 11, so (leaving a margin for traffic/error/etc), I can get you by 11:30, or any time after that.

Lisah I actually kind of like it. I just should have started it sooner for more money.

It took me a minute to figure out which things my employer will pay for but I have those all now.

I really need to stop calling insurance companies before work.

So I found out that with CVs/Caremark if you are on maintenance prescription you have to get a 90 day mail order supply. My doctor won't give me refills for my meds so I'm not sure how that is supposed to work. But you also have to pay upfront . Until my deductible kicks in a 90 day supply of Vyvanse is $700.

They don't accept the discount coupon for the medicine via mail order. Or they can but only if it's sent as a check and the guy didn't know much about that . Supposedly doing this saves money.

I hate our for profit health care industry.
