Is it bedtime yet?
But I only woke up a little over 2 hours ago! Bedtime isn't for, like, 12 hours.

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I have been up since 7, when the very cranky toddler decided it was time to get up despite the fact that she was still obviously exhausted. We ended up napping on the couch for a bit shortly after I posted. Now I'm waiting for TCG to get back from a meeting.
You know what I hate? Whenever I'm watching TV and I see a father and daughter at her wedding. I am reminded that was the one thing I was never able to give my dad and I hate it.
Well, I got some more medical test results back. Looks like my anemia is being caused by bleeding somewhere in my digestive system. Just need to figure out where, which means going to a gastroenterologist and having a bunch of really uncomfortable tests. (Current speculation is that it's in my stomach, and that it's because I take too much Advil. My body seems to be slowly eliminating every non-opioid painkiller available. And the state of Ohio screwed up its bureaucracy and medical marijuana won't be available in September like it was supposed to be.)
Ugh, Hil. I'm sorry. Good luck with the tests.
Vortex, my dad died when I was two, and those scenes have always been very painful for me. I have to excuse myself and hide in the bathroom at actual weddings for the Father/Daughter dance as well.
Hi. I'm sorry .
I am at the doctors because I've been a bloated gassy mess with alternating feeling like diarrhea and constipation doctor said it could be glalbaldder, IBS or giardia.
Although she has no idea how i would have contracted girardia.
Good luck, askye.
Good luck and hugs and health~ma all around, Buffistas.
Would anyone happen to know which brand of blood glucose monitor is the best? Any recs from the sugar-challenged 'istas?
Zen, I used a one touch verio when I was pregnant. It worked well.
I've been using the Accu-chek Aviva for several years. It's been very reliable. They recently upgraded to the Aviva Plus. Before, you had to use test solution to key every new batch of test strips to your meter. But with the Plus you can use a new batch of test strips without coding them with test solution. The lancet is pretty pain-free, too.
