I've cleaned most of my apartment. Things left to do are to take care of the pile of stuff on my living room chair, mop the kitchen and bathroom floors, clean the bathtub, and vacuum the hallway and bedroom. And wipe down the kitchen counters, though that's not really part of big cleaning, since I do that nearly every day.
I also need to clean out my car, but that can be done later.
The doctor called. She's starting me on some iron supplements, and also wants me to call the front desk to make an appointment to talk about this more. I'll do that once I have some breakfast.
OK, I called the front desk of the doctor's office, and the earliest appointment they had for me was next week, so I scheduled that appointment so that I'll have something, and the person I talked to said that she'd message the doctor to see if there was a way to get me in sooner.
That does sound reassuring in the sense of it not being any kind of huge emergency, Hil.
Hil, I wish you the best with the iron supplements. My sister in anemia.
I am SO not in the mood to work today.
In re the NFL thing - a couple of people have made points - first of all, that during the anthem, people are talking, buying food and drink, etc., and most of the audience isn't paying any attention to it. Secondly, someone had been at a game where they'd handed out small flags ... which were mostly dumped on the floor with the trash and walked on. So ... why make an issue of the players?
So ... why make an issue of the players?
That's a rhetorical question, right?
OMG, you guys! A second person I went to grad school with just died suddenly! This year!
Both were younger than me, and both were still working in the theatre world. I just can't even wrap my head around this!
This shouldn't happen to people younger than me!
Sorry, I'm kind of drunk posting. I'm just stunned.
Thanks for listening.
