A family friend that I wasn't very close to but always enjoyed talking to passed away this week. And then I found out someone I knew in high school lost their preemie this week. No hugs for me, but it's been a shitty week for those around me.
And in much pettier news, I thought I could handle two hours alone with ltc today. I was so wrong. So I bribed her with an electronic toy from Christmas that I never let her play with.
Yep, something in the air this week. In addition to my cousin's brain surgery (which is always first, of course, but other bullshit can also weigh you down) - I just had to pay about $2300 to repair my truck, and I discovered termites in my fence and estimates are over $2000 to replace that. And it's only Tuesday.

ltc doesn't want to leave my side. it took quite a bit of convincing to get her to go out with my mother, which she would normally jump at the chance to do. But they finally went out. So, it's cheesy movie and tea time. I've been having panic attacks the last two days, which is just so much fun.
