Work continues to be semi stressful. The district manager will be here Thursday. Because we are short staffed and have been so busy it looks bad. Women's dept is very far behind in getting things put back. And thos cause drama with one person blaming someone else .
I went and helped put up stuff and did the equivalent of a rolling rack and you couldnt tell. Then I realized the complainerwas standing around chatting woth another employee.
Matthew is going over, headed here now. My room is a mess and there are dirty dishes and I am trying to clean but my feet nd knees hurt. So he will see me in my "natural state ". I was dreading this a few hours ago but now I m tired and don't care.
TCG took me to see a Wrinkle In Time tonight, which was very good for my soul. Hopefully tomorrow won't be too stressful with all the relatives.

Matthew has a straight talk pay as you go phone. He bought a nicer one tban the one he had. The SIM card wasn't working. Called Sunday had to call back Monday called Monday and they said they had to send out a new SIM card and that it take 2 days to give delivered . There is no card today. I have talked to 4 different people today (because Matthew's phone doesn't work and he is back at home an hour away from me) And from what I understand he will get the SIM card tomorrow, Friday or Monday.
We go on vacation on Monday.
I also need to do my taxes before Monday. Right now I just want a day off. Which will be on Monday.
Thanks, askye. I had an okay time. ltc was joyous all weekend, which was nice to see. I was very on the edge because of pain, which is luckily easing up a bit now.
Never again let me post that my pain is better.

Aw, sj, ain't that just how it goes. I hope the pain eases soon.
The phone issue was resolved because the people who said the SIM card would take 2 days were right. Now I am procrastinating before I go to bed.

I had a weird revelation while doing some dishes this weekend. Even though I do get pleasure from a clean, empty sink, I still found myself feeling like I wanted a pat on the back or a gold star or something. So I may just make myself a chore chart - just for the pleasure of putting stars or stickers or something on it. One of the benefits of living alone is no one to look askance at you when you do ridiculous things, right?

Epic, I am ALL in favor of that. It's part of why I track my exercise on the calendar -- seeing the color-coded entries (exercise is red) makes me as happy as getting gold stars.
