anyone have any thoughts about what to do about nail-polish stains(on nails) Have tried a mixture with lemon juice and one with peroxide, and, while they did lighten up, the spots are not gone.

Erika, I'm assuming you soaked your nails on those liquids, yes? Or did you just dab some on and wipe off? I've had good luck with soaking. Though I did have one polish that would stain my nails beyond my ability to remove but I loved the color. I finally had to give that one up. I am still bitter.
Nail buffer. You have to basically get rid of the top layer of nail to get rid of the stains.
