One of my coworkers (this is his first job after grad school) recently became vegan. It has been requested that, when I talk to him, I should see if I can set a good example of "how to be vegan without irritating your coworkers," because apparently he hasn't yet figured that one out.

Hil is an awesome vegan! (I say that because, most importantly, she isn't annoying about it, but ALSO she brought cheesecake to dinner at flea's house one time, and that automatically equals awesome.) (Also, the Daiya brand cheesecake is really good.)

Whoa. I got a new bottle of painkillers. Same prescription, same dose, but a different generic brand. These are making me feel high. The old ones didn't. It's a little freaky.
