You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Xander ,'Help'

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Here is something I posted on Facebook. It is something I want to say not only to you, Gud, but to everyone here. I didn't want to tag anyone on Facebook, so I am reposting it here.

Darlings, you deserve care and respect. You deserve care and respect from other people and from yourself.

If other people are not treating you this way, it is not your fault. The problem is outside of you. It may hurt inside you, but the root cause is not within you.

If you are not able to give care and respect to yourself right now, that is not s sign of how bad and wrong you are. It is a sign of how much you have endured, that you are drowning in pain. If this is where you are, maybe all I can do is weep with you. I wish you could hear Harvey's sweet gentle healing purrs right now. He draped himself across my chest when I started writing this paragraph. He wants to send you love along with mine.

Suzi, so much heartache. I'm sorry.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Suzi, I'm so very sorry.

Guess who stole half a cup of warm tea this morning and now doesn't want to nap?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Suzi, I'm so sorry.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Caffeinated toddler!

Yup, Teppy! She's outta luck, sitting in the crib awake because momma needed a shower before the sitter arrives.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I remember when toddler Tickybox kept grabbing for Plei's (black) coffee. Plei finally gave her a sip, assuming that it would be too bitter, and Ticky would stop lunging for the cup. Nope, Ticky loved it, and didn't want to give the cup back.

Suzi, I'm so sorry.

Gud, all I will say is that spouses take care of each other, not get angry when the other one is sick. I hope you feel better today.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, Suzi, I'm so sorry. That's all so hard, and too much to have to deal with it all at once. Numb is okay for now, please take care of yourself.

Gud, I've said it all before and there's no use repeating it. The things you say about your wife remind me of my ex, and I can't be polite, so I'll be silent. Except to say, if I had a husband as diligent and generous and caring as you, I'd count myself blessed.

I have been guilty of giving her a sip or two in the past. She loves it. She's probably half made of it.
