I had a weird dream about one of my exes. I handled ending the relationship terribly and I have dreams where we either reconnect or meet up and he's mad.
I have no idea about Thanksgiving except I'm working 5pm to 1 am. I think my brother just wants him and hisGF and my nephew , which is fine. I want sweet potato pie and I'll either make it today or Thursday.
Bronchitis sucks. I do not like it. I also do not like that both wrists and elbows are hurting like hell, and I have no idea why.
And the cooking begins. Neither CJ or H (grandkid) have school today, so they will be making cranberry sauce and a pumpkin pie in a gingersnap crust.
The majority of the cooking will be done by Cory and Kelly. I bought the food and said I'd make the sauce and a pie. So I'm outsourcing those!
I have two frozen key lime pies in my freezer, from Faux-GrandSon's school fundraiser. Maybe I'll get them to last till the end of the year.
I still don't know why I'm doing thanksgiving. Dad is coming up next weekend because E has swim meet.
I had some bizarre dream about Malcolm Reynolds. He was awesome and badass and sexy. I don't care that I can't remember the rest of the dream.
Yum, Cap'n Tightpants.
I have NO plans for Thursday and I don't care. I might go see The Shape of Water by myself. I might do a little work, or look at insurance plans. I might do NOTHING.
Drive by bitching: it's Tuesday night and I still have no invitation from either in-town sibling, or anyone else to T-day.
Both sibs helped me move so it's not like we're on bad terms.
I have provisions for myself, but, come on!
Soooo Marti Noxon's new show...
Looks like I'm in episode one or two.
No lines, but it looks like it'll get me into the Union.
Feels extra special (and more than a little Buffista) that it's Marti's show where I get to take that leap.
I might do NOTHING.
Best kind of day evah!
Quester, can you just call and ask what is happening? They may think you have plans?
No lines, but it looks like it'll get me into the Union.
Excellent! I owe a debt of gratitude to SAG-AFTRA. A billion years ago Stephen had a tiny supplemental health policy with them that was like $20 a quarter or something super silly. Because of this policy we paid $0 out of the hundreds of thousands of dollars his health care cost. AND when he was declared disabled they refunded his premiums backdated to the date of his disability and left the policy in force until he died. I had insurance through my employer, but this supplemental plan made all the difference. It is devastating enough to go through that kind of illness, but paying for the hospital stays and treatments was never an issue. So yeah, yay unions!
