Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Maybe this? [link]

That is actually really pretty, and I could borrow a cool pendant.

Sadly, I need long sleeves.

I will try the zulily sign up for future stuff.

Now I'm looking at steampunk jackets and such.

I really don't know what I am going to do. This is a big deal opportunity and I need to be comfortable and to stand out against the sea of office wear.

Thanks for the support JZ. I'll try again tomorrow.

I need ideas for places to look at edgy-ish, loose, tunic style dresses for a big conference I'm speaking at Oct. 2.

I replied over at FB, but links are easier to give you here! Anyway, the current term for that sort of fashion is "Lagenlook". I know that eBay and Amazon pulls up some interesting things with that term, but prices and sizing tend to be all over the map.

However! I have been researching this style for some other friends, so I have handy links!

LotusTraders Clothing: [link] Look in the Short Dresses, Jackets, and Tops section. Be warned, things take a long time to get to you, so you may want to spring for one of the faster shipping options.

Pyramid Collection: [link] As much as this catalog makes me roll my eyes sometimes, they've got a lot of good things in the Tops and Tunics section.

Oh My Gauze! [link] Huh, I hadn't gone through their site, and they've got some really nice things. Slightly higher price points, but I've heard good things about them. And look at this! [link]

Oooh, Pyramid is tempting. Unfortunately cloaks are impractical when driving one's own car.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I wondered about Pyramid Collection, but thought their stuff might have the same kind of scrolly embellishment as Holy Clothing.

They have some stuff that isn't covered in embellishment or in weird ombre-verging-on-tie-dye patterns. But you have to search for it.

beekaytee, there's this at eshakti, but their stuff takes 13-17 days to ship to you, so it would be cutting it close.

amyth, I have always wondered about eshakti. I will definitely check it out.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

eshakti is amazing and wonderful but totally not for tight deadlines.

I just checked, and I ordered a few dresses from eshakti on July 24, and I had them customized (which may have added to the delivery time, I don't know, but the ability to have things customized is one of the best things about eshakti) and they arrived on August 9th, so 16 days total. So not impossible for you, but definitely cutting it very close.
