I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?

Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

Sounds like good planning Teppy. I hope that the GI medicine will start helping you right away.

Our wings are not tired.

That sounds like a good plan. I had read about the GI/serotonin thing before and is absolutely could be tied in to the current issues. Sorry the body is being stupid and complicating your life!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, Steph. I hope you get useful answers from the upcoming tests.

And thanks to everyone who was able to be here for Steph in real time. It is so awesome to see how buffistas have each other's back.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That sounds like a good plan, Steph. I'm so glad you were able to get hold of your therapist.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just randomly ran into one of the other school moms at a coffee shop. We had coffee together and are planning a play date soon. My evil plan to put ltc in school so I could make some mom friends is going quite well.

Excellent! School friends for ltc and Mom!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Last night Kelly and I went to see Frozen - a Broadway bound musical. We had a BLAST. Dinner beforehand included some of the most amazing brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. The show was pretty darned cool - they did a great job adapting it to the stage. Former techie that I am, I was as amazed with the sets and lighting as the show itself.

Last night was also the first time I've left Penelope home alone. She has been so low key, I wasn't too worried and she did GREAT! My only concern is that we did hear her howling as we came home. This from a dog who doesn't bark. At all. Anyway, I have an appt at 2pm to take her back to the rescue for her to meet a potential new family.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hooray for chemistry! Steph, I'm so glad you were able to get the distress under control, and I also appreciate the hell outta you. It was lovely seeing buffistas rally around. I think your plan is a good one.

I dropped Penelope at the rescue so a prospective owner could meet her at 2pm. It is 3 and I haven't heard anything. Fingers crossed that she found a home. If not, I'm happy to have her another night. If she is adopted, I may end up with a new foster tonight instead as some dogs are arriving this evening from a Kansas kill shelter.
