You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I completely agree on both counts, Teppy and Toddson.

And, I am once again caught up on the CW superhero shows and I'm even watching Arrow on only 20 minutes delay.

Nice Silence of the Lambs reference on Supergirl tonight!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I quit all the CW superhero shows cold turkey a few months ago and I have no regrets! Although I think I might want to catch up on Legends at some point as it seems the most lighthearted of them all.

The one that's giving me the fun-happy Skiffy show vibes right now is "Timeless," which was almost cancelled then was renewed after the first season. It remains as ridiculous as ever but in a fun way, with a really nice YAY TEAM dynamic, despite some love triangle shenanigans (sigh).

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I quit all the CW superhero shows cold turkey a few months ago and I have no regrets!

I stopped watching The Flash after the winter hiatus, and every time I see a promo for it, my decision is just confirmed.

I'm still watching Arrow out of a stubborn sense of completion, even though it's really a drag. I know it got renewed for another season, but I don't think I'll watch it.

I do love me some Black Lightning, though.

I'll be picking up Legends again next season thanks to Matt Ryan, but for the moment the only comics-inspired series I'm watching are Lucifer and Legion.

I still wish Arrow was as fun as it once was, but I'm finding all the CW shows I watch more enjoyable this season than last, and Black Lightning is truly a thing of beauty.

The finale for Black Lightning was great, although it got a little too heavy-handed in a couple of places. Still, it wrapped up the season really well.

I quit the CW except for Black Lightning. However, I still follow The Flash through the reviews on Black Nerd Problems, which are hilarious. [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The Black Lightning finale very successfully felt like the end of a chapter, but when it was over I realized that the only villain they actually defeated was the MAGA dude who showed up two episodes ago. Well done, narrative sleight-of-hand!

Hopefully we'll get some flashbacks in S2 showing what happened to the kids in the pods.
