Yeah, Ella was hella peppy and weird this week, even for her.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
ST: Discovery --

2) Jeez that head of security was an idiot
3) Rickie!!!!1!
Does Discovery go in Boxes set or Streaming?
It perfectly straddles the line, doesn't it? It's gonna be tough to talk about due to it being accessible only to folks willing to fork out for CBS All Access (or ahem it after it airs a new episode). I'm inclined to say Streaming because of spoilery/paywall issues, even though the show totally belongs in Box Set in spirit.
Honestly, I forgot we had a streaming thread...
So, I'm hoping we don't have angry, sad Supergirl for too long. (I'm guessing not, based on the ending, but you never know.)
Speaking of angry, mopey superheroes, I'm sure Barry saying his time in the Speed Force allowed him to leave the bad parts of his past behind has nothing to do with everyone hating his character the last two seasons.
Also, I'm digging Danielle Panabacker rocking the tattered jeans and tank top look. I never understood why Caitlin wore super-stylish dresses and heels to do medical/lab work.
Does anyone think that is not actually Barry?
I was wondering about that.
The thought had not occurred to me. While the writers don't seem to mind repeatedly tapping the same well ("The villain is an evil speedster that Barry sees as a mentor!") we did just have Evil!Barry last season so I'd assume that's the real Barry.
LoT was a lot of fun, especially with Caesar mistaking a toga party for a group of fellow Romans.
temporal linguistic displasia
Talk about lampshading a time travel staple, Martin explains why the ancient Romans all speak English (with a British accent). I think it would'vd been fun to hear Rory attempt Latin.
