Oh womone wanted to discuss a plot point in Midnight, Texas. Was tge contradiction the Were-tiger's urges getting darker, but the demons don't seem to find any darkness to stir in the werewolf? Because if you anyone is looking for a reasonable resolution to that one, I got nothing.
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Had Orville on in the background tonight, and Liam Neeson showed up in a cameo role. That surprised me.
I still have the first episode of ST: Discovery on my DVR. Anyone think it's worth the time? The reviews have been pretty mixed. (This is probably the first time in my life I haven't jumped at a new Trek show.)
It was ok. I liked the two main female characters, and I liked Sarek. OTOH, it's a two-hour movie that provides the back story for the main character in a show that will apparently be much different. There is too much focus on battle and very little on exploration.
I look forward to seeing what Jason Isaacs character will be like.
ST: Discovery Episode 3 -- We've never seen that Magic Mushroom technology on any of the later series, right? Which means it must be doomed for failure?
Yup. It's too bad. The whole premise of Voyager was that it would take them decades to get back from the Delta Quadrant (or was it the Gamma Quadrant?). A spore-based transportation system would've spared us that entire series.
The new Star Trek's only available on some for-pay app, right? I'm thinking of waiting until S1 is done, and then I'll pay for one month of the app and binge watch it.
Just watched this week's Lucifer. Damn, Tom Welling is terrible.
Yup.
I mean, I knew he was back on Smallville, but I think it sort of fit that show and his role in it. It REALLY stands out on this one, as does the lobotomy they apparently gave Ella between seasons.
