I never got into it because the amount of Isaiah Washington I can take is zero.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
there is no way to cheat the Kobayashi Maru test. There are no good solutions, just varying levels of bad decisions. Which I respect as a storytelling maneuver, but after a while, it gets hard to watch.
I find I'm reaching that point of diminishing return sooner these days.
I used to mock my MiL for being devoted to My Three Sons and the Brady Bunch. I'm afeared that's where I'm headed. RL has enough tsuris already. I'm not wanting it in my mindless entertainment, too.

I'm SUPER enjoying watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Hulu this summer. (I know this is not the correct thread to discuss it; just popping in to agree that some low-key good-hearted comedy is awesome.)
Well, intrigued by Harry Shum, Jr.'s character in Shadowhunters, I just mainlined all of Glee (sorry, wrong thread I know, but in the spirit of the discussion), which I'd never watched before. And felt better for having watched it.
Brooklyn 99 is AWESOME.
I think The 100, for me, is far enough detached from reality that the darkness doesn't bother me.
But there is certainly a big place in my heart for Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
The 100 watcher here! It starts strong but does spiral a bit. I'm in until the end as I enjoy the actors and want to see what happens. That said, if I hear Clarke say, "I'm so sorry!" again...
Per Todd's note above, this is an interview with Charlaine Harris, the Manfred and Creek actors, wherein Charlaine addresses the issue of the characters being different from the books. link
Can I just say, I didn't get the greatest vibe off of Charlaine in the beginning of the Trueblood press juggernaut, but now I have supreme respect for her.
She is so smart, so self aware, so tactical in her aspect, it's really inspiring.
At first, I wished that she had a stylilst helping her to avoid the powder blue, polyester slacks...mostly because I remember what it felt like when I wore them...but screw it, she's a genius.
I'm liking Midnight, Texas more than I thought I would and I'm going to stick with it for Charlaine's sake (not that she cares, because she REALLY doesn't, which I love.)
I have an SDCC interview on in the background, and the young, hip interview JUST said, "Isn't Charlaine the _best_? She just is."
Good to know I'm hip too!
Any Orphan Black fans? I just finished the finale. I will miss the sestras.
I really like some of Charlaine Harris's books ... I find that if a series goes on too long either I get tired of them or I feel that she's just not writing them as well as the earlier ones. The Dead series is one; the Aurora Teagarden series another. I enjoyed the Lily Bard/Shakespeare series and the Grave series, but those both ended after a fairly short run. She wrote a couple of stand-alones years and years ago I liked (drawing a blank on the titles).
