A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Per Todd's note above, this is an interview with Charlaine Harris, the Manfred and Creek actors, wherein Charlaine addresses the issue of the characters being different from the books.

Can I just say, I didn't get the greatest vibe off of Charlaine in the beginning of the Trueblood press juggernaut, but now I have supreme respect for her.
She is so smart, so self aware, so tactical in her aspect, it's really inspiring.
At first, I wished that she had a stylilst helping her to avoid the powder blue, polyester slacks...mostly because I remember what it felt like when I wore them...but screw it, she's a genius.
I'm liking Midnight, Texas more than I thought I would and I'm going to stick with it for Charlaine's sake (not that she cares, because she REALLY doesn't, which I love.)
I have an SDCC interview on in the background, and the young, hip interview JUST said, "Isn't Charlaine the _best_? She just is."
Good to know I'm hip too!
Any Orphan Black fans? I just finished the finale. I will miss the sestras.
I really like some of Charlaine Harris's books ... I find that if a series goes on too long either I get tired of them or I feel that she's just not writing them as well as the earlier ones. The Dead series is one; the Aurora Teagarden series another. I enjoyed the Lily Bard/Shakespeare series and the Grave series, but those both ended after a fairly short run. She wrote a couple of stand-alones years and years ago I liked (drawing a blank on the titles).
Yes, I got bored with the Dead series after book four or five. I have the first Midnight book now, but I think I'll hold off until the first season of the show is done before reading it.
I've read three books in the Midnight series; loved the first, don't remember the second and didn't really like the third. I do, however, have a deep and abiding love for Mr. Snuggly (Snuggles? can't quite remember).

Loved the show, but I def think it was time to go. I mean, poor S's last word was
chickens.
Just finished the Orphan Black season finale. I like that there was plenty of time for
wrapping-up things at the end. All of those people, happy and sure of their purpose. And OMG, Arthur and Donnie!
I read (somewhere) that they're going to be doing a live-action reboot of The Jetsons.
I've been watching The Magicians this past week. 2 more eps to go. Not loving it, but liking it enough to watch. I'm not buying Q as straight, like at all. Don't really like anyone except Penny. Don't really get what magicians do for jobs and whatnot, like 1-2 of the Hedges seem to have jobs, but no one else.
