Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I just caught up on like 5 eps of The Arrow last night. Why does everyone just constantly make horrible decisions?

at this point I like Arrow fic so much more than the show, although Chase is good times.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

OH MY GOD IRIS HAS TWO DADS!

The Dads: You gotta problem with that?

Barry: No... I like musicals...

Man, that was really fun.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Man, that was really fun.

Barry: Things really ARE easier in musicals!

I'm so glad we got musical performances from Jesse Martin, Victor Garber, and John Barrowman. That was excellent.

Jeremy Jordan and Carlos Valdes were great, too.

Loved the Super Friends song.

I wanted more Carlos Valdes. I would have traded Barry's last song for more Carlos Valdes.

I didn't even watch it yet and I am sure I agree with you. I really love Carlos. I mean, not more than Tom, but a lot.

Yeah, but every musical needs a love song, even if it was the weakest of the bunch. And Vibe did get to be all superhero-y in the real world.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

And Penny... I'm feeling hyper protective about him because everyone is so completely dickish to him!

I love Penny. He's growly and irritable and convinced the world is out to screw him over. However, so far the show has proven him right about that last bit, so. He still steps up to do the right thing more often than not. I want to wrap him in a blanket and feed him soup and cookies. As opposed to Eliot to whom I want to feed vodka and with whom I'd love to discuss early 20th century English literature. It would be fun to talk magical theory and the differences in skills acquisition with Julia and Margot (although I fear the latter would not approve of my dress style--eh, I'm 49, she might figure I'm beyond caring).

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Flash: not enough music in general, but what there was was adorable. I could have had a whole episode of the dad's singing.

Arrow: wow that was grim.
