A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I find it annoying when a plot only works when someone's being stupid.
My primary complaint with most rom-coms. Or any show when the plot hinges on "Oh, I can't possibly *talk* to him/her! They must never find out about X! It would be the end of everything!" Unless X is treason/murder.
Good theory, Steph. Maybe it's the future Barry before our Barry started messing with all the timelines? I was wondering last night if Eddie is Savetar. Yes to everything else you said too.
I love the opening voiceover. "I'm just an ordinary forensic scientist..." Yes, that's definitely how I think about people. "That Barry guy sure is weird, but I guess he's just an ordinary forensic scientist."
So the Prometheus reveal surprised me. I was among those who figured Adrian was Vigilante. I don't quite get why he would go through all the effort to save Oliver's job as the mayor (even offering to fall on his own sword) when he's so big on seeing him suffer.
I'm also shocked that Susan apparently doesn't have some sort of ulterior motive (though I wonder why she was so intent in digging up dirt on Oliver, then.)
I love Anatoly. As much as I really don't give a crap about the actual Bratva plot in the flashbacks, I'm enjoying the time with Anatoly.
I'm mostly watching Flash for Cisco at this point. (Though last week's bits between Harry and HR were comedy gold.) They really, really need to find something better for Caitlin to do other than fall for men that end up dying or turn out to be evil (not that Julian is necessarily going to die, but he's still got that whole direct mental link to Savitar going on.)
Speaking of Savitar, they seem to have switched from pure CGI to a suit with CGI enhancements. I imagine that's cheaper, though he looked very "high-end cosplay, but not quite professional-quality" this week.
For those who aren't on FB, DH interviewed Claudia Black and wrote a really fantastic article about Farscape, Aeryn, and feminism for IWD.
When you posted that on Facebook, I didn't realize it was you, so I got to the end and was surprised (and such a sweet wonderful moment)
Yay, my DVDs of The Librarians are here! No longer dependent on other people's sources!
Jessica, this is a marvelous article.
(but I have to say the bit about SMG "mopping the floor" with CB just makes me wish ita were here to referee... sigh.)
I'm watching my Librarians DVDs--and there are missing scenes! I'm pretty sure. Was Hulu airing edited shows? I'll have to watch them all very carefully.
Legends of Tomorrow is SO MUCH BETTER this year. I wonder how long it took them to realize that the show was actually a comedy?
The stuff with Victor Garber and Rory in Mission Control, oh my god.
