A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Laura, a few Buffistas watched season one of The Umbrella Academy, last year. Dh and I have just started season 2, but our daughter binged the whole season Friday.
This is not an attempt to thread nanny -> Last year, there was a teeny bit of conversation in the Streaming thread -- a handful of posts. I think Russian Doll and Good Omens were out at the time, and fewer people were posting overall, so it didn't really take off.
I am kind of wishing I'd re-watched season one before season two dropped, because season 1 premiered almost a year and a half ago, and now I mostly remember:
1. There is a show called The Umbrella Academy
2. The cast is good
3. The music is good
4. It's a quirky little thing
I had an ish with how the women's powers were handled, but I still enjoyed it.
Oh, also on the Warrior Nun finale: I am DEEPLY disappointed that Shotgun Mary didn't shoot
traitor Father Vincent
IN THE FACE.
I just kept yelling "Shoot him IN! THE! FACE!" at the TV through that whole last scene.
Umbrella Academy: OMG yaaaas. Extra points for the killer 80s music. Imagine, KISS sounding good.
With the kids watching it all night long I could hear the music drifting up the stairs, but that is all I know so far.
We've binged 7 of the 10 episodes for S2 so far and will likely finish them tonight. So good! I love how the UA leans into its weirdness.
We watched three episodes of UA S2 so far, and just like last time, Klaus and Five are my precious babies.
Finished last night! So much love! So much not wanting to wait for the next season!
I feel the same as Pix about the weirdness, and the same as Atropa about Klaus and Five.
I am so impressed with Aidan Gallagher as Five.
