I tuned in to Supergirl just in time to catch Kara and James pitching their smugly boastful stories about who did the more impressive heroing and decided I'd had it with this season. I hope CatCo's news division goes down in flames.
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The Librarians: The resolution of Apep was a cop-out. If a main character is going to spend several episodes emphasizing that he's going to have to die to defeat a Big Bad, there needs to be a sacrifice with some emotional resonance. I'd have settled for the general somehow getting pulled in as a sort of penalty for her stupidity in releasing Apep.
On the other hand, the last shot was truly laugh-out-loud funny.
Oh, that's too bad. I haven't seen the latest ep of The Librarians but I was really hoping that Flynn would die, because I find him (and Noah Wyle's portrayal of him) insufferable. I like everyone else on the show! It's just that whenever Flynn shows up, my fist itches with an impulse to punch his smug face in. Which also makes Eve/Flynn difficult to stomach because maaaan, she could do so much better.
Yeah, it was a cop out. And then using magic to save the day and immediately deciding never to use it again made no sense. I also find NW insufferable.
Baird/Stone ftw! If only in my mind.
Just watched the first ep of The Librarians--thank you everybody that recommended it!
I need to catch up. I can't binge watch because Flynn is too OTT for too many in a row.
Yeah, Flynn is trying too hard to be Doctor Who.
Any chance to watch Christian Kane is a good thing, though. I love that he's torn between being the cultured expert in art and history and being the roughneck who loves his family and working in the family business.
OMG! Lexa Doig is Talia on Arrow! Be still my geeky little heart.
Aw, Legends of Tomorrow is kinda cute with all of the George Lucas stuff.
