billytea, I wondered about that ... I remember a lot of, um, not very flattering comments about him and wondered if the crew had felt the same way.
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
If that had happened to my car I'd have been delivering any residual manure to the BBC offices with bonus lighter fluid and matches.
CW is bringing Constantine back as an animated web series: [link]
A few years back, they were going to take off the surface of the road in front of my building (and put a new one back). Several weeks in advance, they started sending people notices. Put signs up. There were notices in the paper. The day they started, of course, there was ONE car on the entire street. The road crew were merciful (maybe) and didn't have the car towed. However, when they were done, the car sat on the only dilapidated bit of pavement for about three blocks and was covered with a thick layer of dust from the road grinding.

The Magicians, Syfy's whimsical drama, is 2017's answer to Buffy the Vampire Slayer
But The Magicians excels because it never forgets that high dramatic stakes only work when they're rooted in believable emotional stakes. Buffy struck this balance beautifully in a way that many of its imitators struggled to replicate, but that The Magicians seems to understand.
...
In season two, The Magicians is darker, deeper, and just plain better than it was in season one, and it makes a claim for being one of the most unexpectedly great shows on television.
Just binged season one and loved it. Looking forward to season two.
I'm guessing the lack of talk means everyone else was as "meh" about the new Supergirl and Flash episodes as I was?
I'm watching The Flash right now and thinking that Barry seriously has to stop time-traveling. He's really bad at it.
I liked them both. I was just waiting for someone else to start the conversation. Yay, Barry for actually talking to your loved ones! Boo on not telling Joe because that will probably bite them in the ass. I still think Kid Flash is going to die.
Super girl was fun, but I still really miss Calista Flockhart, and I miss Supergirl working with her friends.
