Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

'Not Fade Away'

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The Arrow series finale is tonight.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Chef! I used to *love* that show, had no idea anyone else in the US had even heard of it!

Ain't no rant like a Blackstock rant.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

His wife had her own version ... I remember one episode when she was lamenting the life she'd left behind - career, company car, "I had a boy toy!" ... and then put her hand in a salmon mousse (NOT pate) and practically had an orgasm licking it off.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I was naturally spoiled for the big Doctor Who thing, but not for that last ten minutes, damn.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I've now watched Fugitive of the Judoon. I'm a big fan of when Doctor Who just goes wall-to-wall WTF? (Preferably when it works, but respect even when it doesn't.) I was spoiled (largely because the title led me to expect another Davies retrospective), but still got chills on the TARDIS reveal.

Our wings are not tired.

I finally sat down and streamed quite a few episodes of The Magicians. I think through S2E4. All I can say for the moment is that it is excellent distraction.

Still have to catch up on the last couple Doctor Who.

My focus for reading seems to have deteriorated, so working through the series I meant to watch but didn't get around to previously list.

I can't explain the sequence of events that have led to this, but I've been reading TONS of fanfic for The Magicians recently even though I've never watched it (though I did read the first 2 books). I think I need to watch it -- where is it streaming?

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Netflix.

It's not a comedy, but I think it's the funniest show on TV.

Also the end of S4 is one of the saddest TV episodes I've seen lately.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

The most recent ep of Magicians had me absolutely bawling.

Netflix.

Right on. I'll check it out.
