Ok, caught up on Doctor Who. That was quite satisfying.
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
They replaced boring flashbacks with boring flash forwards.
On Arrow? Man, I didn't even finish last season. I just lost interest after Michael Emerson left. I was going to give it another shot this season, though. Boring flash forwards really doesn't bode well, though.
Yes, Arrow. It was the most boring premiere ever. I swear I only watch for Felicity these days.
I missed most of the last season, so I wandered in with a whole new situation ... no idea how people got there. Glad to hear those were flash forwards ... I was SERIOUSLY confused. I may continue for a while, see if it improves. (I do love Felicity ... and her hair.)
I may watch Arrow tonight after Black Lightning. We'll see.
Charmed - I liked the pilot. The original was, as someone wrote in EW back in the day, good laundry-folding television, and this was more compelling than that. I like the sisters a lot, especially Macy with her I'm gonna science the shit out of this witchcraft business attitude.
Did people watch the latest Doctor Who ep?
I did, I did!
Oh my, her face when she hears and then sees the TARDIS. Worth every moment.
Yes! One big change NuWho made that I really like is treating the TARDIS as its own character rather than just a vehicle or tool, however amazing.
I suppose knowing that it's sentient in its own way makes the Event Horizon-style console room reno a bit concerning, but cookies make everything better.
I dig the new look. And I love that the Tardis redecorated herself. I am finding that I can't remember how 12 got back to the Tardis on the 400 mile long ship even though I just watched that, like, last week.
Costume-wise - I really want the Doctor's ear cuff thingy. Pretty!

Truth.

Not a change! In the very third adventure ever, The Edge of Destruction (set entirely within the TARDIS), the resolution hinges on the realisation that the TARDIS is alive and trying to warn them that there's something wrong.
