wth is going on? killings in Cleveland? live streaming on facebook?
Yeah, that's as much information as I've seen. Awful.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I just saw this - terrible.
Sounds like one death is confirmed, and the guy has claimed that others also happened. No corroboration yet.
I'm not a fan of this part of the brave new world.
I made meatloaf with the liquid eggs--sorry, no mayo--and they worked beautifully. So much simpler to deal with. And very yummy meatloaf.
California day one, done. I flew in SFO early and drove up to Sacramento to visit my mom's best friend. I got to see her new place and we could have chatted for hours on end. I know California needs the rain, but I have tickets to tomorrow's A's game, so I really hope it lets up tomorrow. Priorities!
We packed and sorted and packed and cleaned and packed all weekend and had the realtor here to look things over this afternoon. After listing the tasks we need to do and jointly deciding to remove all the books and bookshelves from the office wall (it's an odd room and we want to make it look as nice as possible), we decided to push back listing the house by two more weeks
This will allow us to get everything done and not kill ourselves in the process.
I discovered some money. I thought I had closed out some saving accounts and I HAD NOT, so yay! money to pay down the credit cards. not nearly all of it, but more than I thought I had this morning, so YAY! and I did my taxes and will get some back so that will also go to the cards.
Yay for found money, msbelle!
Packing is hard. Moving is hard. More time to do both is good!
Cannot even deal with the horrible news out of Cleveland. I'm seriously not looking at it.
Yay money!
Boo moving, but yay realistic timeframes!
It's a state holiday here (Patriots Day), but not for me. Boooo.
Ugh. One of my FiL's siblings has started some shit, saying that he has almost no clothes at the skilled nursing facility and that's completely irresponsible of his children to not meet his needs.
All she needed to do was actually ASK one of us what the deal is, instead of shitposting about it. My FiL will only wear khakis, and -- seriously -- he only owns 2 pairs. (He says he only needs 2 pairs because he can wear one while the other is in the wash.) We got him some sweatpants for PT, but he hates them and only wants to wear his khakis.
Nobody realized he only owns 2 pairs of khakis until now, since he had been living at home and (allegedly) doing his own laundry. (Because who counts their parents' articles of clothing when they visit their parents in the parent's own home?) So we've ordered more pants from L.L. Bean, but they're not here yet.
All of which would have been easy enough to find out by asking a couple of questions, instead of shitposting about it to the rest of the family. (I really want to ask this aunt if *her* kids know how many pairs of pants she owns, and if they don't, why she's so tolerant of her kids' "irresponsible" behavior.)
