That bee sting doesn't sound like any fun. The last time I was stung was on the neck and I was relieved to discover that I am not allergic to them the way I am to wasp stings.
I've certainly seen the commercial many times. Many, many times.
So you can see why I was surprised to enjoy them!
Y'all, apparently there was a Canada goose on my deck. I have goose poop on my deck (it's kinda unmistakable.)
Ok, quick shower to tame my hair and then it's shorts & a tank top & planting.
Everything planted. I coulda got a couple more flowers into one bucket. Gonna eat something, attempt rescreening, then take a walk.

Before the rain really got going, I got up and made it to the farmer's market to buy some strawberries, pea shoots, fresh garlic, and snap peas. Now I've made breakfast and am leisurely drinking coffee.
Next up, I either need to watch/read something that needs to go back to the library soon, or do homework.
Successfully rescreened the window without removing it from the frame! And dear gawd, the old screen was filthy. It's the window I blow a fan out of, so not too surprising, but yuck. Need to check the weather.

Ow, -t. I got stung under my eyebrow once when I was a kid.(Bunch of us were running through the woods and someone stepped in a hornet's nest.) My eye puffed up for a few days.
I'm loving Nate and Jeremiah, aside from the fact I'm addicted to house remodeling porn.
They are really cute together.
Church was great, and then we went out to lunch with my aunt...eventually. She had called a place that said they didn't take reservations, but when we got there, they were closed! They have a very strict interpretation of brunch apparently -- they were open from 11-12:30 and then closed again! Went around the corner to another place, also closed. We finally ended up at a classic Chinese restaurant, where everything was delicious! So that's good.
11-12:30 for brunch? That is super weird.
