Everything planted. I coulda got a couple more flowers into one bucket. Gonna eat something, attempt rescreening, then take a walk.

Canada goose poop is pretty unmistakable, agreed.

Before the rain really got going, I got up and made it to the farmer's market to buy some strawberries, pea shoots, fresh garlic, and snap peas. Now I've made breakfast and am leisurely drinking coffee.

Next up, I either need to watch/read something that needs to go back to the library soon, or do homework.

Successfully rescreened the window without removing it from the frame! And dear gawd, the old screen was filthy. It's the window I blow a fan out of, so not too surprising, but yuck. Need to check the weather.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ow, -t. I got stung under my eyebrow once when I was a kid.(Bunch of us were running through the woods and someone stepped in a hornet's nest.) My eye puffed up for a few days.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm loving Nate and Jeremiah, aside from the fact I'm addicted to house remodeling porn.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They are really cute together.

Church was great, and then we went out to lunch with my aunt...eventually. She had called a place that said they didn't take reservations, but when we got there, they were closed! They have a very strict interpretation of brunch apparently -- they were open from 11-12:30 and then closed again! Went around the corner to another place, also closed. We finally ended up at a classic Chinese restaurant, where everything was delicious! So that's good.

11-12:30 for brunch? That is super weird.

Right? I mean, surely there are other people who want to go to brunch after church.

Yah, my expectation for brunch is open at least from 10-2 pm. Although some places won't open until 11.

We had an early Easter brunch at my sister's house and then a bunch of folks went to a baseball game and my sister & I went to church. Which was oddly empty because of the Warrior's playoff game, I suspect. And it's pouring out so I suspect the baseball game is not going well.

Now I'm trying to do some financial stuff and planning to go to the grocery store. But it's raining...

OK, I went and looked at the website, and they are supposedly open through from 11am until 12:30am, NOT pm. So they were just inexplicably closed today.

Oh crud, I did my nails instead of laundry. I think I'm safe to do a load now.
