There are so many leaves out front. And I know my neighbor did a round while I was swimming. And it's all the maples, lindens are still holding out.
And I had a fast swim, which is surprising because after raking or vacuuming, I usually have a slow one.
I just had a momentary freak out that Loki had a bald spot. No, just Pumpkin's pale paw stuffed into his fur. I think they're ready for me to turn on the heat.
I won't believe until the EC is for sure 270 for Clinton. And even then I'm pretty anxious about the inevitable blowback -- from Trump refusing to concede, to an all out, shoot 'em up shitshow.
People are fucking crazy, and I don't trust 'em.
Yeah, one of the Bernie Bros from Washington is apparently an elector--and vowing to NOT vote for Hillary! WTF, dude??? Don't make the Nasty Women and Bad Hombres in this state come kick your ass!
I just made a pumpkin chocolate chip cake for my party Tuesday. May also make red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting (maybe make some of it blue for red white and blue??). Should probably be prepping some real food for the week but whatev'.
1. It should be a landslide
I think for a lot of people it just comes down to who's wearing the red jersey and who's wearing the blue jersey.
Oh, hey, I do have a pantsuit. It appears to even be my current size. Grey. That should do nicely.
And even then I'm pretty anxious about the inevitable blowback -- from Trump refusing to concede, to an all out, shoot 'em up shitshow.
I'm not really worried about that. I think there will be a lot of angry tweets and people talking about revolution and then things will die down. There's a lot of emotion in the heat of the moment.
I see the FBI has concluded there is nothing new with the latest batch of E-mails. I still don't understand sending a vague letter to congress when they didn't know anything yet.
The FBI thing is such bullshit. Especially with all the rumors that Gulliani's friends in the FBI have been intentionally leaking "suspicions" about Clinton to the press. (And the leak that Comey chose not to say anything a few weeks ago about Russian's attempts to interfere with our elections because he didn't want to interfere with the election.)
ION, after melting my brain the last few days reading Consumer Reports, Edmunds and a bunch of sites I can't even remember anymore and poring over TrueCar and CarGurus for hours on end, I've contacted dealers about a 2012 Honda Accord and a CPO 2016 Hyundai Elantra that were both in my price range.
The Elantra's a little smaller than I'd like, but one of my co-workers has one, is a similar build to me and doesn't have a problem driving it. It's red, which I'm not thrilled about, but it's only got 11k miles on it while sitting at $5k or so less than a new one.
The Honda, on the other hand, has over 50K miles on it, and no warranty, but it's a Honda and should in theory last forever. It's a better overall size and color (blue).
I think it's ultimately going to come down to how I feel after the test drives.
