Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hm, I could maybe approximate a white pantsuit with jeans and a blazer. I think all my actual suits are skirted.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I unfriended someone on FB this morning after she made a pro-Trump post followed by an anti-Hillary post saying that criminals would celebrate if she won. Bye bye.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The only white clothes I have are shirts, but I could do at least that. Plus Madam President on my nails!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The only suit I have is black and very late-seasons Scully.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I still want to know how Princeton Consortium has HRC's odds at >99%, while 538 has them at 65%. I know that Nate Silver has kind of lost it, but that's such a HUGE difference. (And I'm going with Princeton Consortium.)

PEC is probably a bit too dismissive of the possibility of a systemic polling error, but I'd still estimate we're quite a bit closer to his estimate than to 538's.

Which doesn't curb my anxiety about this election, because:

1. It should be a landslide. America needs Trump and his hate-based campaign to be buried in a landslide. I'm not a violent man, so I still prefer that to be a euphemism, but needs must.

2. The Senate needs to be a landslide. Otherwise, the Dems will just lose it again in two years' time.

3. The House, likewise, needs a seismic shift. (You know I care because I made sure the 'f' was in there before posting. YOU'RE WELCOME, AMERICA.)

And at present, I'm not sanguine that any of that will happen. Thus, anxiety.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Dana, I KNOW! I just about burst into hysterical laughter when she said you needed to do research.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Right? It's been a while since I've been condescended to so completely.

But really, I wish FB wouldn't show me that kind of stuff, where a friend has interacted with it, because then I get incensed by random strangers, and it's not like those arguments will ever really accomplish anything. Except, apparently, give me the chance to be passive-aggressive in that Southern way.

Our wings are not tired.

ITA with everything billytea said above. Why this is anything less than a landslide is a complete mystery to me.

Also, Comey needs to present his resignation immediately. His meddling is inexcusable.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Bet that critter can wipe out some foliage.
